ITEL Collaborates to Remove Overhead Communication Cables Along Ngamwongwan Road for a Distance of Over 8.5 km Supports MEA Plan to Improve Electrical System Stability and Urban Landscape in Nonthaburi

Interlink Telecom Public Company Limited (ITEL), a leading provider of high-performance and stable fiber optic network services covering the entire country, along with a team of expert network engineers, has joined forces to remove communication cables from utility poles along both sides of Ngamwongwan Road, from the Khrae intersection to Vibhavadi Road, spanning approximately 8.5 kilometers. This is a collaborative effort between the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), Nonthaburi Province, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), the Royal Thai Police, the Communications Division of the Royal Thai Army, telecommunications operators, and other relevant stakeholders. The initiative is aimed at supporting the plan to organize communication cables and prepare for future underground cable installation.
The project is scheduled to take place on July 23, 2025, at Pantip Plaza at Ngamwongwan, Nonthaburi Province.
ITEL is committed to cooperating in line with the plan to enhance safety, reduce accident risks, and improve the visual appeal of the cityscape, especially in the high-traffic areas of Ngamwongwan Road. The initiative will also enhance telecommunications network efficiency in the crucial community and economic areas of Nonthaburi Province. This project aligns with the government’s strategy to develop sustainable urban infrastructure.
ITEL remains steadfast in its role as a leader in the country's telecommunications network, focusing on modernizing and developing infrastructure to be sustainable and in line with government strategies, contributing to the advancement of Thailand toward a smart city in the future.
