Interlink Telecom Public Company Limited (ITEL), a leading provider of high-performance and highly stable fiber optic network services across Thailand, has taken its service security to the next level. The Interlink Data Center has officially received certification for the latest version 4.0.1 of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), a globally recognized benchmark for the secure storage, processing, and transmission of credit and debit card information.
The PCI DSS standard is developed by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), which includes major global payment network providers such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. The certification for Interlink Data Center is effective from May 30, 2025.
The certification assessment was conducted by AlphaSEC Co., Ltd., an officially appointed Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and Qualified Security Assessor Company (QSAC) by the PCI SSC. The evaluation process included comprehensive reviews of documentation, operational procedures, staff interviews, live system testing, and assessments of cybersecurity risk mitigation measures. This ensures that Interlink Data Center’s operations strictly comply with the requirements of the PCI DSS standard.
Achieving PCI DSS version 4.0.1 certification is a significant milestone that underscores ITEL’s commitment to elevating the security of its data center to meet international standards. It positions the company to serve organizations that handle sensitive data, such as government agencies, financial institutions, fintech businesses, and large enterprises both domestically and internationally. The certification also reflects ITEL’s strong corporate governance and systematic approach to cybersecurity risk management—critical factors in an era where data is a highly valuable asset requiring rigorous protection.
ITEL remains dedicated to maintaining high security standards and continuously enhancing the capabilities of the Interlink Data Center to meet the needs of enterprise clients seeking robust, secure, and reliable infrastructure. This commitment supports sustainable business operations in the digital age.
