Interlink Telecom Public Company Limited (ITEL), a nationwide leader in high-performance and reliable fiber optic network services, has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable business operations by registering the Interlink Data Center for the International Renewable Energy Certificate (I-REC) through INNOPOWER Co., Ltd.

On August 20, 2025, Dr. Bandit Rungrueangporn, Managing Director of ITEL, received the certificate from Mr. Athip Tantivorawong, Chief Executive Officer of INNOPOWER, at ITEL Headquarters on Ratchadaphisek Road. This certification validates ITEL’s use of 7,000 MWh of renewable energy throughout 2025 to power its Data Center operations.

The registration of I-REC underscores ITEL’s ESG-driven mission by promoting clean energy adoption, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and elevating energy efficiency standards. This aligns with the growing demands of the AI and Cloud era while supporting Thailand’s long-term vision of a sustainable low-carbon society.

Furthermore, the I-REC certificate can be applied to Greenhouse Gas Protocol Scope 2 Reporting, reinforcing ITEL’s commitment to renewable energy usage and its contribution to global carbon emission reduction efforts.
