ENVIRONMENT
Growing Responsibly, Caring for the Environment
ITEL is committed to conducting its business with environmental responsibility at its core. We prioritize the efficient use of resources and energy, minimize the environmental impacts of our operations, and develop digital infrastructure that is environmentally responsible.
We strive to turn our environmental efforts into tangible outcomes—from adopting clean energy and improving Data Center energy efficiency to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, optimizing resource utilization, and minimizing waste throughout our business operations.

ENERGY
Using Energy Efficiently
ITEL places importance on efficient energy management across both our organization and infrastructure. We promote responsible energy consumption while continuously improving our processes and equipment to reduce energy use and environmental impacts.
Across our organization, ITEL promotes energy-conscious practices through measures such as turning off lights and unplugging electrical equipment when not in use, setting air-conditioning temperatures appropriately, regularly maintaining electrical equipment, using energy-efficient lighting, and conducting online meetings to reduce travel.
Using energy efficiently not only helps reduce operating costs, but also contributes to minimizing environmental impacts and advancing our business toward sustainability
GREEN DATA CENTER & CLIMATE ACTION
1. Developing Data Centers with Clean Energy to Reduce Environmental Impact
ITEL is committed to developing the Interlink Data Center as digital infrastructure that prioritizes energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. This commitment is integrated throughout the design and operation of the facility—from building design and cooling systems to the adoption of renewable energy—to enhance energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from operations.
The Interlink Data Center is designed to maximize the use of natural daylight through its glass areas, helping reduce electricity consumption while minimizing heat accumulation inside the building. ITEL also continuously improves the efficiency of its cooling systems, with a target to maintain Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) below 2 and further enhance energy efficiency over time.
To increase the proportion of renewable energy in its operations, ITEL installed a Solar Rooftop at the Interlink Data Center in 2024. The system covers a total installation area of 6,268 square meters, generating clean electricity for Data Center operations while reducing reliance on fossil-fuel-based electricity.
In 2025, the Solar Rooftop generated a total of 1,382,842 kWh of electricity, an increase of more than 52% compared with 2024. Solar Rooftop energy accounted for an average of 15–18% of total monthly electricity consumption and is estimated to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 600 tCO₂e per year.
By combining energy efficiency with renewable energy, the Interlink Data Center plays an important role in advancing ITEL’s digital infrastructure while reducing environmental impacts and supporting sustainable business growth.
